Good Questions to Ask a Bankruptcy Attorney You Are Considering Hiring

Posted on February 26, 2010. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Oklahoma Bankruptcy Attorney Dan Nunley has a good blog post on what questions to ask a bankruptcy attorney that you are considering hiring.  I very rarely get asked questions like these, but wish that I did.

If more consumers of bankruptcy services were savvy and inquired into the credentials of their attorney, and didn’t focus so much on the price, we might see fewer problem cases in bankruptcy court !

If I wanted to file Bankruptcy where do I start?

Paula…. you need to go meet with a very qualified bankruptcy attorney as soon as possible.
Most will meet with you for free and assess your situation and share options with you. We do that.
To find a qualified attorney in your area, I would suggest going to http://www.nacba.com and use the attorney finder
search on that page to find him or her. Good luck in your search and your financial situation.
