Bankruptcy and Utility Shut-off

Boston Bankruptcy Attorney Nicholas Ortiz has a good blog post on your utilities and how they treat you in bankruptcy if you are behind in payments or have had your service cut off:

We have seen a few cases of this in our office, and generally the utility companies have been very good about turning the utilities back on, although some have required a deposit to be paid prior to doing so.
