I Filed Bankruptcy And My Mortgage Company Has Stopped Sending Me Statements–What Now? Standing Modification of the Automatic Stay

Eastern North Carolina Bankruptcy Attorney Adrian Lapas has a good post on what happens when creditors stop sending monthly notices and you want them to come to remind you to pay a debt that you want to continue to pay after bankruptcy:

The post is directed at North Carolina local rules.  In Kentucky, there are no local rules governing this, so whether a creditor continues to send notices or not would depend on the agreement between the debtor and creditor.  Most creditors will send a form to the attorney for the debtor to sign allowing the creditor to continue to send the monthly notices, and this will take care of the issue.
